Support when it matters most
Whether they're welcoming a new member to the family, raising a child with a disability or special educational needs, or caring for a sick or elderly loved one, we're here to help our people balance a great career with the things that matter outside work.
Parents and Carers Network
The Parents and Carers Network is another peer-led initiative to connect and support our people, recognising that caring for others while working can be extremely challenging and offering a space where colleagues can navigate the pressures of work and family together.
The network is open to ALL types of parents and carers, offering practical help, policy signposting and wellbeing support for colleagues, providing guidance for leaders and line managers on maintaining a culture of compassion and inclusivity in their teams, and creating localised support communities and buddying opportunities.
Award-winning policies
We've been honoured at the 1st Annual Working Dads Employer Awards, picking up two awards for our enhanced parental leave policies: the Support for Returning Fathers Award and the Parenting Policies Award.
We were proud to be commended for this work on our Inclusion for All agenda, but we’re taking it as a sign to keep going, keep progressing, and keep on doing what’s right for parents and carers in the workforce.
Full details of our policies for parents and carers can be found on our Programmes and Policies page.
Making a difference to people's lives
Our shared parental leave is making a real and meaningful difference to thousands of people, particularly in countries where there's little or no legal requirement to give equal support for both parents. It’s just one of the ways we've committed to promoting diversity and inclusion across our organisation.
