I began my career at PCCW (formerly Cable & Wireless HKT) as an account manager, then spent seven years working for Verizon Business (formerly MCI) as Sector Sales Manager, which both laid the foundation for my deep understanding of the industry and the evolving needs of global clients.
Today, I am a Client Partner at Vodafone Business International, and Spirit Ambassador Lead of Vodafone APMEA. I joined the company as a Client Director in 2011, and in my 14 years here I have consistently ranked as a top sales performer, won lots of new clients and many large global managed network deals for the organisation, and secured and executed a number of exciting and successful client transformation deals.

Working at a global organisation like Vodafone has enabled me to develop a wide range of skills. This helped me to achieve results that in turn paved the way to my current positions.
I have learned everything from customer relationship management and establishing trust and rapport with clients, to presentation skills, learning to handle sales and negotiations, leading and managing cross-functional teams across different countries and regions, and technical proficiencies in relation to product and solution knowledge. In addition, I have been able to gain valuable cultural and market awareness regarding technology trends and the competitor landscape around the world.

- Sales rewards and recognition: I have received many company awards, which most recently include being the 100% Club Winner every year since 2014, the GAM of the Year, APACME, FY25, the Best CXX Award and the Customer Loyalty award at the APACME ALL HANDS AWARDS 2024, and the “Create the Future” award for winning Vodafone‘s first APAC managed UC deal (cloud PBX) from a FSI customer for their Hong Kong and Singapore office in 2022. These awards not only acknowledged my hard work, but also enhanced my credibility and motivated me to maintain high standards.

A transformation client success story
Recently, I won a NASDAQ listed client for Vodafone Hong Kong, whose goal of mobilising their geographically distributed workforce had been slow to take off due to highly stringent gaming and finance regulations. They want to enhance security and compliance, improve employee access to application and data from anywhere, enable remote work, and support a distributed workforce and simplified IT management.
With this award-winning developer, who operates casino, gaming and entertainment resort facilities in Asia and Europe, I was able to secure a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) services deal, for their 10,000+ employees across Hong Kong, Philippines, Macau, and Cyprus. Our team won against fierce competitors including Microsoft Cloud, AWS, PCCW and IBM.
Our solution effectively addresses the customer’s data sovereignty concerns. It leverages Vodafone’s multi-tower service capabilities, where infrastructure is built upon Vodafone’s existing private Cloud and MPLS network, coupled with professional services from Vodafone’s consultancy services, delivery and support.
This is Vodafone’s first Managed Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) win, and a groundbreaking reference within the gaming and hospitality industry in APMEA. The solution forms the foundation of the client’s Digital Workspace Transformation, transforming them into a truly device and location agnostic workspace.
Above all, it truly demonstrates Vodafone's ability to harness resources across multiple continents and lines of businesses to deliver a global service that is consistent.
I never give up
Like any sales professional, I face many different types of internal and external challenges in my work, like providing solution in challenging market with highly regulated environment, non-standard products and services which require high internal bespoke build up costs, strong competition and global economic downturn.
To overcome this, I need to have the right strategies. I maintain a positive and strong mentality, a ‘must win’ and ‘never give up’ attitude, and endless persistence. These are the attributes that help me to bounce back from failure and maintain momentum - as well as, of course, the encouragement, understanding, and support from my management and peers at Vodafone.
Currently, there are many reasons I feel excited about my future at Vodafone. The career growth opportunities are one - I have been selected for a job shadowing program where I gain experience in carrier business and operation, and I have also been selected to join the Top Talent Development program.
I am also excited that I have the chance to learn about the latest technology because I am part of a company that is at the forefront of innovation. Combined with the diverse work environment, global exposure and ability to work on international projects and collaborate with people from various cultures, and the job rotation opportunities to work in a different geography, my future continues to feel very exciting for me here!
