Privacy Statement: Senior Talent Assessment Platform

This privacy supplement gives some additional information specific to the Senior Talent Assessment Platform and the processing we do in this framework. For general information about how we process your data, including the data we process as part of the recruitment or talent development processes, please see the Employee Privacy Statement.

Who we are

Vodafone Group Services Limited are the controller of your personal information. We are a member of the Vodafone Group and manage HR operations, including the processing of personal information about Vodafone Group Services Limited employees. Our registered office is Vodafone House, The Connection Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2FN. We are registered in England under company number 03802001. We are also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number Z802136X. We provide details of how to contact us in the Employee Privacy Statement.

Personal information we collect about you

Information we collect about you

We collect the following information about you:

• Basic personal data to identify employees and candidates. These include your name, personal e-mail address if you use that for your application, work e-mail address.

• The test result of your psychometric test taken on the platform as recruitment or personal development related data.

• Functional cookies and web server logs of the Platform.

• We may collect some demographic data about you, which we anonymize and aggregate. Providing these pieces of information is optional and completely up to you. These include: age, nationality, date of birth, gender, education or qualifications, ethnicity.

• There are some personal data collected only from the Admins and management team of the platform. These include their business e-mails with Korn ferry, their login details (username, password) for the admin site.

When we collect your personal information

We collect your personal information when:

• You apply for senior manager position and take the psychometric assessment.

• You take the psychometric assessment as part of your development journey at Vodafone.

Vodafone will process your personal data based on:

1. Your freely given and explicit consent in terms of the optional demographic questionnaire.

2. Vodafone’s legitimate business interests, that are recruitment and learning and development of employees in terms of your basic personal data (name, email address) and the psychometric test results.

How we use your personal information

To support hiring decisions

• We use your data to support our hiring process. As part of the bigger picture, your data in this framework helps us make less biased and more objective decisions.

• The psychometric test results helps both you and us to see some aspects of how well you’ll fit our culture and the role you’re applying for.

• The demographic data helps us comply with non-discrimination laws and to ensure an unbiased and inclusive hiring process.

To support your personal development journey

• We use your data provide you with feedback on personal development journey at Vodafone.

How we share your personal information

Where applicable, we share information about you with:

• Companies in the Vodafone Group;

• Korn Ferry, the provider who are engaged to provide the Platform for Vodafone;

• Law enforcement agencies, government bodies, regulatory organisations, courts or other public authorities if we have to, or are authorised to by law; or

• A third party or body where such disclosure is required to satisfy any applicable law, or other legal or regulatory requirement.

How long we keep your personal information

• Assessment results are valid for 24 months after completion of the assessment. That means we need to keep data for 24 months (providing candidates the option to reuse their results or take again if applying for a job within that period). For unsuccessful candidates, all data will be deleted after 24 months.

• For successful candidates and employees, we keep the data for as long as we have a contract with Korn Ferry or a maximum of 5 years.

What choices do you have

You have the right to:

• Access your data we store,

• Have your data deleted,

• Object to the data processing,

• Rectify, modify or amend your data,

• Limit the scope of the data processing,

• To receive your data in an easily accessible, portable format

Keeping your personal information secure

We have put in place effective organizational measures to protect your data. Only limited admin users can access the platform, files are shared with those on a need to know basis and access removed after 60 days. Administrators are able to restrict access at any point.

We also implement strong technical measures to keep your data safe. For Korn Ferry systems, all data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 and at rest with AES 256 bit, both state-of-the-art encryption techniques. Korn Ferry is ISO 27001 and 27018 certified, which are internationally renowned information security certifications.
