Vodafone Technology: Advances for a greener telco network

Part of that is our commitment to protect the planet and enable our customers to do the same. We strive to achieve net zero in our own operations and value chain, contribute to the circular economy and empower our customers to reduce their environmental footprint too.

In our recent event, we dived into the innovative advances that are supporting us in creating a greener telco network.

We heard from Business Change Manager Laura Davis who introduced our Purpose and our commitment to protecting the planet before, Head of Network Standards, Kyriakos Exadaktylos shared more about the work we're doing to create a greener telco.

Kyriakos leads Energy Performance at Vodafone Group. Over 20 years, he has served in various Tech roles & has driven several mobile network award-winning innovations improving customer experience, reducing energy consumption or delivering innovative products and services. Most recently, he drives Vodafone's Climate Transition Plan through innovative energy efficiency initiatives incl new digital, GenAI based solutions, disruptive storage solutions and new architectures such as Open RAN.
