Teams you could work in
Our Network Engineering Graduate Scheme is designed to give you a broad, hands-on experience across the growing world of Network Engineering. You could work in teams across:
- Network Operations (Fixed, Mobile & TV)
- Radio & Transmission
- Technology Strategy & Architecture
- IT Operations
- Cloud & Virtualisation
Things you could work on
You could find yourself:
- Working on the design, testing, and deployment of 5G infrastructure in new regions, ensuring coverage and performance standards are met
- Supporting the migration of traditional core network elements (like voice and data routing) to cloud-native environments
- Working with cybersecurity teams to implement and test encryption, firewalls, and DDoS protection on Vodafone’s networks
- Contributing to projects focused on reducing network energy consumption through smarter hardware, sleep modes, and solar-powered sites
- Working on the network side of Vodafone’s global IoT platform — ensuring reliable connectivity for millions of connected devices

You'll also be paired with a dedicated buddy, someone already enrolled in one of our programmes, who understands what it's like to be in your shoes and can offer valuable support and guidance throughout your journey.
But it’s not all about work. You'll enjoy summer socials, inter-company networking events, and opportunities to give back through youth volunteering initiatives.
Interested in applying?
- A 2:2 degree or higher in a technoloy-related degree (think: Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, AI/Robotics, or similar)
- Recently graduated – i.e., a bachelors or masters obtained or to be obtained between June 2024 and August 2026.
- You must also have the correct right to work documentation in place for the full programme duration. We do not accept the Graduate Route Visa.
- Our graduate schemes may close early if we receive a high number of applications, so we recommend applying as soon as you can.
- Assessment Centres for this programme will be held between January – March 2026.
- If offered, the start date would be September 2026.
