The Networks division is responsible for Vodafone's mobile and fixed networks. This includes network architecture, the expansion of the 5G network, radio systems, and the technical infrastructure behind the internet, telephony, and data traffic. Networks ensures that the network remains powerful, secure, and future-proof.

The IT department is at the heart of our digital systems. It develops and operates applications, platforms, and processes—for our customers and the entire organization. Using state-of-the-art technologies such as cloud, automation, and software development, the department ensures that digital solutions function reliably and are constantly evolving. IT works on projects that drive innovation and connect millions of people.

Consumer Sales handles all sales activities in Vodafone shops and other digital and brick-and-mortar sales channels. The division combines customer focus, brand management, and product strategy, ensuring that our offerings reach people exactly where they are.

The Strategy department develops and manages Vodafone's strategic direction. It analyzes trends and competitors, designs growth initiatives, and supports mergers and acquisitions. This is where concepts and decisions that shape the future of the company are made.

Customer Experience and Operations are shaping the service of tomorrow. The division develops modern service concepts, optimizes processes, and ensures smooth customer experiences across all channels. The focus is on service design, innovation, and customer centricity.

The eCommerce division develops simple and innovative solutions for all of Vodafone's digital touchpoints. These include the online shop, the app, digital campaigns, and user experience research. The goal is to create a consistent and compelling digital customer experience. 

Finance ensures that Vodafone acts in a financially sound and strategically sound manner. The department plans revenues, analyzes business developments, and evaluates investments. Finance is also responsible for controlling, accounting, purchasing, and auditing internal processes.

Strategic Marketing observes the private and business customer market, develops new products, and defines the positioning of our offerings. The division combines innovative strength with a clear customer focus, thereby creating long-term competitiveness and a modern product world.

HR shapes the future of work: The department develops recruiting and learning programs, supports managers, and promotes a culture of collaboration and diversity. With modern systems and global networking, HR drives leadership and development forward. People are always at the center of everything we do.

External Affairs and Corporate Communications manage Vodafone's external image. The department develops communication strategies, accompanies management at public events, and liaises with the media, politicians, and social stakeholders. It also supports the implementation of the sustainability strategy.

The Brand department continuously develops the Vodafone brand and brings it to life for customers. The goal is to position Vodafone as the leading telco brand in Germany — with a strong brand image that embodies optimism and a “can-do” mentality. The department leverages technological opportunities such as digitalization and AI to achieve the greatest possible impact.
