Who we are
The finance world is exceptionally diverse. We are trusted partners for a vast range of different customers ranging from the private customers to the technology sector. We advise colleagues about financial decisions affecting the company and our customers. On top of that, our Data & Analytics division assists the company with obtaining the right data in the right format. We need this data for further analyses and assessments.
We bring all of the threads together. And create the necessary financial conditions for our organisation. These encompass compliance with financial legal conditions, central purchasing as well as technical support via our financial IT systems.
Classic controlling is one aspect. This means that we prepare accurate reports for the individual business units through to the annual financial statements of Vodafone Germany. We ensure that the legal framework is complied with and implemented. Our Supply Chain department coordinates our central purchasing. We provide key data and constantly optimise our accounting systems.
Our shared mission is to use the power of data for all of us. Together, we illustrate reality through numbers. In the process, we gain insights which we then use for all further business decisions. Transparency, the willingness to learn and courage to change are essential for our daily work.
When you think of finance, you probably think of Excel. In truth, the tool remains a faithful companion for our work. Because we produce overviews every day. We calculate and analyse. In doing so, we combine all of the individual components. Namely, facts, figures and data. Digitalisation also creates numerous innovations. For example, we utilise machine learning-based predictions and experiment with new methods and tools for collaboration.

Finance Tea(m) Time
Have a cup of tea with the CFO? Of course! In our regular Finance Tea(m) Time format, our Finance Director talks to colleagues about current topics and projects, while drinking tea, of course. Everyone can contribute their questions and suggestions in this hybrid format.
Career Week
What does Finance actually do? Our colleagues from other business areas ask themselves the same question. That why once a year, we hold an internal career week together with the neighbouring strategy department. At this event, all of the departments introduce themselves and present different career paths. Because we offer careers to far more than just traditional financial experts.
