Teams you could work in
Our Software Engineering Graduate Scheme is designed to give you a broad, hands-on experience across the growing world of Software Engineering. You could work in teams across:
- Cloud & Edge Product & Enablers Engineering
- Messaging, Identity & Managed Apps
- Digital Engineering Transformation
- HR IT platforms & Corp Tech
- System Architecture
Things you could work on
You could find yourself:
- Building and enhancing digital platforms that personalize and simplify customer interactions using AI and machine learning, improving everything from chatbots to recommendation engines
- Developing software to connect and manage Internet of Things devices, enabling smarter traffic management, energy usage, and public safety services in urban environments
- Collaborating on software that optimizes the 5G network infrastructure, improving speed, reliability, and low-latency services for consumers and businesses
- Designing and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and microservices that power Vodafone’s backend systems for faster deployment and enhanced security

You'll also be paired with a dedicated buddy, someone already enrolled in one of our programmes, who understands what it's like to be in your shoes and can offer valuable support and guidance throughout your journey.
But it’s not all about work. You'll enjoy summer socials, inter-company networking events, and opportunities to give back through youth volunteering initiatives.
Interested in applying?
- A 2:2 degree or higher in a technoloy-related degree(think: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics, AI/Robotics, or similar)
- Recently graduated – i.e., a bachelors or masters obtained or to be obtained between June 2024 and August 2026.
- You must also have the correct right to work documentation in place for the full programme duration. We do not accept the Graduate Route Visa.
- Our graduate schemes may close early if we receive a high number of applications, so we recommend applying as soon as you can.
- Assessment Centres for this programme will be held between January – March 2026.
- If offered, the start date would be September 2026.
