As part of our recruitment process, it is highly likely you will be asked to complete one or more of our online assessments. At Vodafone, we want to ensure our colleagues are aligned with our spirit values and behaviours and therefore we have created a unique set of questions to understand how well each of our candidates aligns with these ways of working. Depending on the role you are applying for, you may be asked to complete different assessments to ensure your suitability for the role.
We want to make sure you are fully prepared and able to perform your best during your assessment, so we have lots of information about what to expect and tips below for each of our assessment types.

Personality Assessments
Our personality assessment is completed for nearly all of our roles at Vodafone. It help us to understand your ways of working, how you typically think and interact, and how you align to our Spirit behaviours.
You will be asked to rank a set of statements based on what is most and least like you. There is no right or wrong answer and you can take as much time as you need to complete the assessment however it normally doesn't take more than 30 minutes to complete. You'll also receive a personalised feedback report at the end of the assessment.

Reasoning Assessments
In addition to the personality assessment, you may also be asked to complete a reasoning assessment. This may include numerical, logical and/or verbal reasoning. These are used so we can ensure you have the skills and standards required to complete the role effectively.
The length of these assessments can vary, but it normally takes between 20 to 40 minutes to complete.

Technical Assessments
For some of our technical roles, you will also be asked to complete a technical assessment. This assessment may include a coding task, algorithmic knowledge, system design capabilities, and other relevant technical areas. This may either be conducted as an individual assessment or live with a member of the hiring team.
The length of the assessment can vary but your recruiter will inform you of this before the assessment.

Recorded Video Interviews
For certain roles, the hiring team may request you to complete a recorded video interview. You may be asked a range of different questions depending on the role, but these often include Spirit or skills questions.
These questions help us to get to know you a little bit better before the next stage of the application process and identify candidates who are best matched for the role.
