My experience on the Graduate Scheme

The Vodafone Business UK Graduate Programme has been an invaluable learning experience. I have had the opportunity to experience different roles and get exposure across the business in various functions, including Operational and Commercial.

The programme offers the chance to have genuine responsibility to make a difference and drive change – in my second placement I led on executing our ‘SOHO’ Broadband Strategy for FY24. This involved delivering on our budget commitments, operationalising pricing and promotional changes, and aligning with various functions across the business to set the product up for success, including Demand Generation, CVM, and the sales Operation.

A personal highlight is executing the ‘12m free broadband’ promotion to support our customers during the Cost-of-Living Crisis. As a result, Vodafone gave away over £1m in Free Connectivity to Small Businesses, which is just one example of how the Graduate Programme has enabled me to drive real change and make decisions.

My new role

I have recently completed the programme and will be moving into a new role in the Vodafone Business Marketing team. Here, I will be working in Segment Marketing as a Marketing Specialist, which is a great opportunity for me to experience a new area of the business and broaden my skill set further.

My time on the Graduate programme has been both challenging and rewarding. It has been a great learning experience that set me up for success in securing my full-time role in Marketing and I can’t wait to get started!
