As an apprentice, you’ll join one of our world-class software teams embedded across Technology, from IoT and Unified Communications to Public Cloud Services and internal systems.

Level 6 BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions on the Software Engineering Pathway – all funded us!
You'll have one Study day per week to focus on your qualification
Things you could work on
You could find yourself:
- Building internal tools or customer-facing websites using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, backed by APIs in Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Contributing to Android or iOS apps, possibly using cross-platform tools like Flutter or React Native.
- Writing scripts using Terraform or Ansible to manage cloud infrastructure.
- Gathering requirements and presenting demos to internal or external clients.
Throughout your Apprenticeship it will challenge you, inspire you, and help you grow, developing the kind of Technology leader the future needs.
Your Qualification
Qualification: You’ll work towards a Level 6 BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions on the Software Engineering Pathway and you’ll have 1 Study day per week to focus on your qualification.
Duration: Typically 48-months, with additional time to prepare for your End-Point Assessment
Course Delivery : Remote, with occasional off-site sessions
Content: You’ll learn:
- How to analyse and break down complex software engineering business problems into structured requirements for solution development.
- Software development methodologies (such as Agile and DevOps), programming paradigms, and architectural patterns that support scalable and secure software design.
- How to design end-to-end software solutions — from high-level architecture to detailed specifications — suitable for bespoke builds, customised packages, or integrated systems.

Interested in applying?
- There is no upper limit, but you must be at least 18 years old on or before 14 September 2026.
- GCSEs in English & Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications and 3 A Levels gained by August 2026 or equivalent qualifications.
- You must not currently be enrolled into full time education, and you must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree or masters in a similar subject).
- You must also have the correct right to work documentation in place for the full programme duration.
- Our Apprenticeships may close early if we receive a high number of applications, so we recommend applying as soon as you can.
- Assessment Centres for this programme will be held between January – March 2026.
