What is your role at Vodafone?

I work as a Software Engineering Manager in Vodafone Digital. My responsibilities include development and delivery of software code that adhere to Vodafone standards and guidelines, and meet project delivery timelines. I also act as a line manager and have eight engineers reporting to me.

How long have you been working at Vodafone?

Two years and nine months ago and it has been a pleasant journey from the beginning!

What network are you part of? And what made you want to join it?

I am not part of any network unfortunately, simply due to time constraints. However, I believe in and embrace diversity and inclusion. In my teams, we learn from each other and get things done together. 

Tell us an interesting fact about you!

Since graduating, I have been working as a software professional and I enjoy building software using trending technologies. But I love literature equally, especially poems and used to write myself.

How many countries have you visited?

Around 12 countries with Croatia being my favourite.

How do you switch off after work? Or how do you manage your wellbeing?

I enjoy watching TV, especially tennis and cricket games and I'm a big fan of MasterChef Australia. When the weather is nice, I like gardening. 

Do you have any book/film/TV recommendations?

My top picks for novels would be The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, Tell No One by Harlan Coben to name a couple.

What are you most looking forward to over the next year?

Travelling to Kolkata in eastern India and visiting those streets and neighbourhoods where I grew up. It will be a trip down memory lane.
