To ensure the right level of collective focus on driving Vodafone IoT growth, individuals reporting up into the IoT CEO will be incentivised through the Hyper GSTIP.
This means that all bonus eligible employees in Vodafone Hyper IoT will be included. Employees on commission or local bonus schemes remain on their current schemes. The CEO will also have part of their short-term incentive aligned to this framework.
If you are eligible, you’ll be incentivised on IoT growth as well as overall local market performance.
You will have two parts to your variable pay, each of which will represent half of your target bonus:
- The Hyper GSTIP, which is focused on IoT growth. Growth (35% Service Revenue, 35% EBITDA) and Customers (30% NPS/CXX).
- The Group GSTIP, which is comprised of following measures:
- Growth (20% Adjusted Service Revenue, 20% Adjusted EBIT, 20% Adjusted Free Cash Flow).
- Customers (20% NPS, 10% Churn).
- 50% of your bonus opportunity will have Vodafone Hyper IoT measures, Service Revenue 35%, EBITDA 35%, NPS/CXX 30%.
- 50% will be based on the local market GSTIP achievement which is based on Group performance.
Yes, your individual impact rating is applied to your bonus calculation.
The normal GSTIP rules will apply. If you move to a new market or business area during the performance year where your bonus is subject to different performance measures or weightings, these will be applied from the day of the move.
The payout curve is the same as the GSTIP and runs from 0 – 200% on a straight-line basis.
Going forwards all eligible employees in all markets will be incentivised in this way. This will be implemented for FY25 in all markets where it is legally possible to do so.
Any adjustments to performance will be reviewed as part of the end of year GSTIP process, managed by FP&A and Vodafone Finance.
The short-term incentive remains a discretionary cash bonus plan designed to drive exceptional performance across Vodafone and recognise and reward individual impact during the year.
Local eligibility guidelines remain unchanged and minimum performance standards continue to apply, in line with Grow My Impact.
