Reward, Recognition & Benefits

We recognise how important our people are to our success. That’s why we reward them with market competitive pay and generous benefits. It’s in keeping with the Spirit of Vodafone. Our approach is underpinned by our Fair Pay Principles and embraces the Spirit of Vodafone.

Vodafone's Fair Pay Principles

Our global Fair Pay Principles ensure all our people receive pay that is market competitive, free from discrimination and provides a good standard of living. Our principles also ensure everyone has the opportunity to share in our financial success, have benefits to support key life moments and clearly understands their reward package. How we’re staying connected at Vodafone

Not even the pandemic could dampen the spirit of Vodafone. If anything, it’s made us stronger as a global community, as you’ll see from our early lockdown selfie videos. It’s great to be part of such a rewarding culture.

Vodafone Stars & Thank You

These are our recognition schemes – which are a chance to celebrate great achievement and those living our Spirit, in the moment. Thank You is for peer to peer recognition and Vodafone Stars allows managers to provide cash rewards to their team members, throughout the year.

Share in our success

We get it done, together. And that’s why we focus on collective performance when it comes to our annual bonus scheme. Whether it’s through a bonus or commission, if we do well you’ll share in our success.

We offer a generous package of benefits, ranging from pension, life insurance, healthcare and a whole lot more, depending upon the market you work in.

Maternity and parental leave

We give every parent the opportunity to have more time with children new to their family. As a new mother, you can enjoy at least 16 weeks of fully paid leave. If you are a non-birthing partner you can benefit from 16 weeks fully paid leave. All new parents at Vodafone have a phased return to work on full pay. Read more about our parental leave here.

Wellbeing support

You’ll have access to guidance and wellbeing services via ThriVe, our global wellbeing site. We also have wellbeing ambassadors and mental health first-aiders at the ready.

Local benefits

In addition to the universal package we offer, you’ll also receive benefits that are specific to the region you work in.

Beyond Reward and Benefits

Life at Vodafone is rewarding in its own right. There’s the work you’ll be doing, and the inspiring people you’ll do it with. There’s the scope to innovate and learn, no matter where you join us.

Forward-thinking ways of working

We want you to work from wherever you can best get the job done. So, unless you’re engaging with customers in a store or you have another location-essential role, you’ll find that you’ll probably spend 40% of your time collaborating and co-creating with colleagues in an office and 60% of your time working remotely.
