By joining Vodafone Roaming Services (VRS) team, part of Vodafone Group you will help ensure over 750 million mobile customers can confidently connect abroad and enjoy voice and data services. VRS is located in Luxembourg and makes roaming work for Vodafone customers worldwide. It is Vodafone's central wholesale roaming team, which manages the contracts and technical connectivity with more than 650 foreign networks in almost every country of the world. They steer customers to the best available network and monitor their voice and data quality, around the clock. Negotiating roaming rates and traffic volumes with our roaming partners and settle the resulting payments with them. Our Team:

As a Wholesale Negotiator you will secure, implement and manage on an end-to-end basis wholesale discount agreements with partners and third party Mobile Networks in on behalf of all Vodafone


This role is a rare opportunity for a customer obsessed commercial professional and/or Wholesale Negotiator within the Roaming industry to take this business to the next level.


As a Wholesale Negotiator, you play an important part within Vodafone Roaming Services (VRS) in Luxembourg. Commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to establish a network in the roaming world are key selection criteria.

With us you will:
  • Develop the wholesale strategy with a view to optimise wholesale costs and revenue
  • Prepare and carry out negotiations with roaming partners in your own portfolio focusing on Enterprise IoT under strict deadlines
  • Co-define and implement steering strategy
  • Manage stakeholders – Internal, Group Retail, Partner Markets, Consumer & Enterprise Units and Local Markets
  • Optimise cash-flow
  • Deliver roaming discount deals that enable profitable, differentiated roaming propositions to Vodafone customers, as well as wholesale margin
  • Manage end to end the deal making, implementation and harvesting cycle of individual wholesale relationships by working closely with Legal, Finance, Tax and other stakeholders
  • Create long-term financial plans and budget guidance

  • Knowledge of commercial strategies
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from a large volume of diverse data
  • Experience of working as part of multinational team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good influencing skills (both upward and downward management skills)
  • Strong drive and passionate for delivering extraordinary results
