In this role within the Global Technology Learning & Development team in Vodafone Group, you will be at the heart of shaping Technology programmes for employees worldwide.
You will have experience and are passionate about designing, developing and implementing innovative learning solutions and will own one or more of the following technology areas – Cloud, IoT, TV, APIs, Coding, depending on your passion/ experience.
You will be working with Technology business functions building successful and rewarding relationships across the business and with over 30 Vodafone markets to deliver engaging and impactful learning programmes.
The main responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible for defining the learning strategy for your area and bringing it to life, acting as the learning partner for the subject matter experts you work with for your programmes and business area
End-to-end ownership of learning programmes including requirements gathering, design, development, communications and engagement activities, supporting global roll out and tracking impact and evaluation. Specific focus is on creating a learning experience that has a long-lasting business changing impact.
Effectively managing and bringing out the best from our existing suppliers and seek new opportunities to work with innovative companies who bring something new to your learning products
Creating learning programmes and ensuring content on our online learning platform, Vodafone University stays current for your programme areas
Demonstrating and articulating the critical benefits of your work
Co-ordinating a world class standard of training delivery
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Technology experience and appreciation/desire to learn about future digital tech trends in one or more of the following areas: Coding, Cloud, APIs/Micro services, IoT or TV.
Strong track record of and experience in developing capabilities and delivering change
Excellent influencing skills – delivering via others
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Prioritization skills in a global virtual team
Good track record of project management in a complex environment
- Good organisational skills
Desired competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Basic podcasting/coding/adobe/desktop publishing skills would be desirable
HR – Generalist and/or L&D - experience in a global organisation is an advantage.
