To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in IoT, Group Enterprise Technology requires a highly capable and experienced SMEs for 3rd line of Support. As a 3rd line of Support you will be responsible of IoT end to end Solution stability, continuity and operation improvement. You will deliver IoT applications, services, features, modules and take the lead in the deploying, reviewing and troubleshooting of technical integration interfaces with various technology platforms & devices.


You will be operating in an agile environment, challenging architectures, reviewing HLDs and producing platforms procedures and will become a key part of major ongoing and upcoming IoT success story.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Take E2E ownership and accountability of IoT platforms Operation and stability.
  • To support and deploy software packages as per Release commitments.

  • Always consider and implement different aspects of continuous integration & deployment

  • Diagnose and resolve software problems quickly and efficiently as per agreed SLAs / OLAs.

  • Produce detailed upgrade procedures and writing the programcodes, whenever necessary.

  • Working closely with analysts, designers and staff to review & approve HLDs & provide technical feedback.

  • Provide Operations requirements, guidance and trainings to different technology teams.

  • Ensure Proactive monitoring is always implemented and functioning as designed.

  • Work as part of the team on daily stand-up meetings for incidents handling.

  • Ensure Knowledge Management Systems is always updated.

  • Communicate and manage different stakeholders and vendors’ interfaces.

  • Drives efficiency and provides initiatives for optimization and automation

 Core competencies, knowledge and experience: 

  • Understanding of internet of things technologies & architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and debugging skills.

  • Strong skills in Platforms’integration, software development for internet, mobile and/or communications technology

  • Strong interest to work in an international, fast-moving, agile & cross functioning environment

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills in English (both written and spoken)

  • Proven track record of software support with agile & CDI tools.

  • Familiar with DevOps practice and the different relevant tools

  • Good understanding of software development and delivery lifecycle.

  • Ability to work on multiple challenging projects.

  • Proactive individual, with leadership characteristics andstrength in working within a virtual team with the ability to influence & build effective relationships with peers across the business
