Our Team:

Our team is there to provide all round corporate tax support (advice, compliance and tax reporting) in respect of the Vodafone group’s Luxembourg based operations with a particular focus on Vodafone Roaming Services and Vodafone Procurement Company. In this role you will ensure that all risk in respect of local and international taxes are pro-actively managed in respect of the Luxembourg operations through collaborating effectively with the business, which involves developing practical compliant solutions. Next to that you will ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance in relation to Vodafone Roaming Services and Vodafone Procurement Company.

With us you will:
  • Coordinate and manage the provision of tax advice and support to Vodafone group’s Luxembourg based operations.

  • Provide technical Luxembourg and international corporate tax advice in relation to jurisdictions where the Luxembourg businesses have trading relationships. Ensure that the implementation of business initiatives / restructuring or tax efficiency enablement remains consistent with pragmatic and commercial requirements,

  • Manage operational tax issues such as permanent establishments, withholding taxes and application of international tax treaties.

  • Monitor the application of the group’s transfer pricing policies in respect of the Luxembourg operational businesses. In particular ensuring that the transfer pricing policies accommodate the evolution of the businesses.

  • Ensure maintenance of up-to-date transfer pricing documentation.

  • Work on local and group tax projects. Support Group Tax team in respect of group wide projects such as intra-group reorganisations, M&A and transfer pricing/business transformation

  • Follow direct and indirect taxes regulation changes and developments

  • Create and/or review financial information, tax related reports and briefing papers for the boards

  • Ensure a fair representation of tax related items (e.g. tax provisions) in the accounts of the Vodafone entities.

  • Prepare Tax packs to submit to the Group Tax Department with tax provisions and impact on the deferred tax positions

  • Prepare accounting and forecast simulation for tax planning projects

  • Preparation and/or review of annual tax provisions and corporate income tax returns
