Purchasing Specialist 
 
Role purpose: To perform professional purchase order processing and support activities in commercial supply chain area. To play a crucial role in providing end-to-end transactional and process improvement support in procurement to internal and external stakeholders, To identify issues and improvement opportunities and drive their resolution with a project thinking. Participation in projects that have potential impact on processes.
 
 What you will do:
  • Manage and closely monitor every purchase order raised by supported Vodafone local markets, make sure that they are sent within KPI time frame to the most important supplier accounts.
  • Keep close daily contact both with the supported Vodafone local markets and with the managed suppliers via email, chat and phone
  • Process Purchase order (PO) changes and cancellations
  • Support all Terminals-related testing, including new, ongoing and planned projects, take suggestion regarding new and planned projects
  • Verify accuracy of PO purchase and sales prices against catalogue
  • Process and reconcile goods receipt notifications across system to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reports relating to the area
  • Participate in projects that have a potential impact on processes related to the area
  • Ownership of end to end issue resolution including root cause analysis
  • Prevent queries, resolve issue’s root causes to avoid reoccurrence
  • Take incoming complex vendor and Local Markets emails or calls
 This position is for you if you have: 
  • Fluent English knowledge – both oral and written
  • Other European language is an advantage
  • Degree in Business Economics/Commerce/Finance
  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain/procurement /sourcing, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • SAP knowledge is a must
  • Punctuality, strong attention to details
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge, good analytical skills
