About the role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager within the Networks team to lead projects across multiple domains. Specifically, you will focus on Network simplification activities, implementing new networks for enterprise customers, broadband and preparing our network for 5G! The Future`s exciting and we`re getting ready!
You will manage multi-party teams and ensure Programme Managers and senior stakeholders expectations are managed in terms of time, cost and quality of delivery. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation through to final operational stage overseeing all plans, schedules and reports on activities related to the project.
In addition, your role will involve the control and ongoing review of all project economics to include project costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, project resources and project risk.
As a Networks Project Manager, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Relevant experience, including management of projects within a Fixed Telecommunications Environment to include delivery of IP, Transmission, Voice, Radio, Hosting, Data Centre and Fibre Infrastructure Projects.
• Some experience of site closure projects, network rationalisation and network delivery into OLO network infrastructure.
• Experience with telecoms products, networks, applications, processes, managed services etc. Has a good understanding of the OSS and BSS systems that support the network.
• Proven record of accomplishment of working with 3rd party on and off shore partners throughout the delivery life cycle.
• Experience of maintaining project budgets and finances.
• Self-motivated and takes the initiative, brings an innovative style and ability to create new approaches
