Title: IoT Product Owner
Location: Newbury or Paddington

Role Purpose
To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in IoT, we require a highly capable and adaptable IoT Product Owner.
In this role you will be responsible for the taking the ownership of delivering Vodafone’s market leading IoT products
working very closely with engineering & product management teams. You will deliver future-proof IoT products and
solutions, take full accountability and ownerships of the product backlog and contribute directly to Vodafone IoT’s
ambition to deliver excellent digital services.

As the IoT product owner, you will be a key stakeholder in the IoT team. You will be responsible to define your product
vision for delivery and convey that vision to the scrum teams as well as Agile Transformation agenda of IoT Digital
Services. You will be part of an agile team, ensuring that your product backlog is up to date and prioritized with a
features list for the product at all times aligning with Product Management and Line of Business Stakeholders. You will
be the lead user of your product ensuring the product meets the quality required, & that the scrum teams correctly
implement user acceptance criteria and the user stories in parallel with running and communicating on Agile
Ceremonies and outputs such as Show & Tells and commitments of Scrum Team’s deliverables covering Business

Job Responsibility

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience in managing projects in agile environments, especially in a facilitator role.
  • Technical background and ability to understand architecture & technical issues to drive effective agile delivery.
  • Willingness to be involved in day to day delivery activities and thinking about future backlog / features.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and team building skills; articulate and able to steer a meeting with presence.
  • Ability to maintain calm attitude during difficult situations and responds well under pressure
  • Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
  • Experience in maintaining and reporting across various seniority levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with an ability to negotiate business decisions with different stakeholders in the organization.
  • Self-starter & self-motivated with a drive to identify opportunities for improvement across the product.
  • Highly independent, takes ownership, does not need to be told what to do, seeks feedback, and execute actions.
  • Knowledge of SAFE and Scrum methodologies covering tools to be used e.g. JIRA
