Role: RED Edge Digital Sales Intern – Business Development

Our Business stream sits within Vodafone Business which helps organisations across the world to meet all of their digital communication needs, whether it be leading on solutions relating to the Internet of Things, Cloud & Security Services, Connectivity, Unified Communications or Global Carrier Services. Your core focus will be working as part of our world class Digital Sales organisation RED Edge, where you will learn from and work with the Digital Sales teams that bring our total communications portfolio to life and enables our business customers to succeed in a digital world within the Irish Market.

Vodafone RED Edge is a new, cutting-edge division within Vodafone with a global focus on corporate inside sales, and responsible for Digital Sales across Vodafone local markets and internal lines of business. We have a multi-channel approach to Digital Sales using the newest and best technology, and have two main Sales hubs in Dublin and Valencia, with smaller hubs throughout the world.

In joining the Inside Digital Sales team here at Vodafone, you will be targeting and understanding the business needs of existing customers and developing a deep understanding of prospects’ & customers’ business drivers and how Vodafone can bring value, whilst ensuring excellent customer experience. You will identify opportunities for selling our range of products and solutions through outbound calling, social selling, and following up on marketing campaigns. This will involve engaging with customers’ buying centres and learning to build rapport using questioning skills to recognise customer needs to sell or cross-sell Vodafone’s solutions via the telephone. You will also be responsible for building a healthy sales pipeline of opportunities and converting these opportunities into sales.
