The Career Opportunity
Role purpose:

 

The Global Account Manager (GAM) is accountable for overall VGE relationship management for one or more of VGE global clients. The role is focused to drive business outcomes for VGE accounts aligning operating companies, affiliates and partners and to drive profitable and long-term revenue contribution, customer satisfaction and increased market share from integrated product, service, converged/unified communications / IoT/Cloud & Security and mobile solution offerings.

 

The Global Account Manager leads a client-focused team which includes the National Account Managers in the different VGE regions, commercial solution and service functions depending upon the size of the Client and the complexity of their relationship with VGE.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Ensures delivery of all financial targets including revenue, market share and net margin contribution, as well as responsible for the delivery of the P&L and product mix
  • Establishes appropriate relationships with Vodafone customers at the right business level, engages with senior stakeholders and partners to build strategic relationships on C-level.
  • Understands the customer’s strategic and operational issues & opportunities. Develops and implements a strategic account plan for driving profitable growth in the account by aligning key stakeholders across Marketing, Lines of Business, Presales etc.   
  • Identifies and qualifies new opportunities and orchestrates deals with the broader account team (solution sales, pre-sales, etc.)
  • Introduces Vodafone’s portfolio of propositions incl. IoT, C&S, UC, etc to the customer and drives multi product penetration increasing value of the account.
