  Our Team:  

As part of the Finance Operations teams in Luxembourg in this role you will be responsible for accounting and compliance management of various entities in Luxembourg. This includes management of governance and statutory reporting requirements as well as the preparation of internal reporting and forecasts, system enhancements development – everything in close cooperation with various shared service centre teams and other Vodafone Groug functions. Furthermore, this role ensures compliance with Group standards and tax/legal/statutory requirements.

  With us you will:
  • Have full accountability for the financial accounting processes and procedures for the various subsidiaries of the Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC)
  • Managing the local accounting processes of various entities and migrating activities to Shared Services Centre
  • Be responsible for the integrity of all P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
  • Create ad hoc reporting and management information to the company’s management, and stakeholders such as Group Head of Finance Operations, Group Commercial Finance Director, and Group Reporting Director.
  • Ensure compliance with Finance SOX controls
  • Manage the forecast process for those entities in coordination with business stakeholders, Group Reporting and Group Planning teams.
  • Manage the statutory audit process
  • Support roaming tariff settlement process with 3rd party mobile operators
  • Direct effective partner relation and performance management with Shared Services Center teams, as well as business partnering with various functions (Supply Chain Management, Terminals)
  • Ensure proactive continuous improvement of processes, systems and people

    Apply if you have:
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure a transparent representation of the results, processes and procedures and to influence multiple stakeholders
  • Good management skills and preferably experience in managing remote and virtual teams in a complex and changing/dynamic operating environment
  • Technical financial skill (e.g. financial accounting) as well as system skills (ERP and analytical tools) 
  • ‘Can Do’ mindset with focus on customer satisfaction beyond expectations
  We’re happy if you:
  • University graduate, preferably from Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Economics
  • Preferably at least 3 years of working experience, in Financial Operations, FP&A and/or statutory audit
  • Experience in telecommunications industry could be a plus
  • Very strong cooperation, coordination, communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical-minded, hardworking, innovative, adaptable, team player and leader with broad experience and understanding of performance management
