Role purpose:

•Engaging with potential business partners (based on leads/opportunities identified by the Vertical Mgmt. and Account Mgmt. teams) and managing the qualification (tollgate 0) and solution development (tollgate 1) of given opportunities until approval.

•Ensuring that the solutions developed will bring the best value for Vodafone.


•Providing guidance to the business opportunity management team based on experience with the functions/verticals covered by the role.

Key Accountabilities:

•Lead the definition of solutions and commercial proposals to VSS business partners (all local markets, partner markets, external partners) in order for Shared Services to reach its target.

•Developing the business cases for any new be-spoke and complex opportunity coming to VSS.

•Coordinating the response to RFI, RFQ, and RFP across VDBS, VSS Service Delivery and Support functions.

•Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development and implementation of customer solutions in order to bring additional value to Vodafone and increase Partner NPS.

•Coordinating with the business opportunity management team the local inputs necessary to a solution

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

•Strong commercial acumen and experience in a Shared Services / BPO environment which includes solution definition and commercial proposal/business case management

•Proven ability to work with teams across multiple locations

•Ability to provide leadership,  clarity, and purpose on complex commercial opportunities

•Ability to develop a specific domain knowledge in order to develop valuable solutions to our partners

•Good communicator and influencer who is able to operate at a senior level
