Demand and Supply Planning Specialist 
 
This role is responsible for contributing to and delivering the best-in-class planning, reporting, logistics and operational activities related to devices, in collaboration with the Device Products team, to enable both Consumer and Enterprise Business units within Vodafone Ireland to meet their commercial objectives.

What you will do:
  • Contribute to the Device Operations strategy, which delivers commercial value and differentiation to the Consumer and Enterprise Business units, based on the market, customer and competitive insights
  • Department related reports – handset sales reports, Sales and Operations reports, KPIs, intakes reports
  • Product set-up in systems – NPI (New Product Introduction) flash, inputs device specs in JIRA/MEC, manages MEC input from a systems perspective, support the new product launching process
  • Pricing/Rebates – issues pricing flash & dealer price file for each channels, calculates rebates and triggers cash collection
  • Continuous improvements, e.g. automation of reports & process clarification. Places POs for specific categories (TV, SIMs)
  • Understanding of local IT systems/tools
  • Ensure ‘Device Operations’ processes are clearly defined, documented and adopted by the team and the wider business (e.g. S&OP, GDPR, SIM & Numbers). In particular, collaborate with SIM, Numbers & Systems Operations manager to optimize processes and address systems risks
  • Ensure the ‘Device Operations’ team functions effectively and as ‘One Team’, following set and defined processes, data driven decisions, and driving continuous improvements
  • Enable the team to work in an Agile and flexible way, following the Vodafone Leadership shifts (external focus, data driven decisions, Agile ways of working, coaching and empowering, customer obsessed)
 This position is for you if you have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Knowledge of the mobile and / or fixed (broadband) business a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in relevant field
  • Strong proven operations skills, with an understanding of products, commercials and commercial management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, assimilate and communicate knowledge and information clearly and succinctly
  • A team player, with ability to engage peers, coordinate activities, coach for performance
  • A ‘growth’ mindset, enthusiast even in times of change, and challenging the status-quo
  • Can see the big picture, while having an attention to details
  • Solution driven, with fact-based, structured and methodical mindset to solve problems
