 Commercial Manager  


In the Procurement & Interoperability team we work on exciting procurement and wholesale interconnect activities with wide-reaching impacts across the business. You will have the opportunity to be part of a supporting team and help develop a leading Procurement & Interoperability function that makes favourable commercial decisions and enables us to deliver an exceptional customer experience and value to our customers.


As Interconnect Manager you will manage commercial, operational and CX strategies and outcomes with interconnect, international bandwidth & other partners of Vodafone to the maximum short term and long term benefit of Vodafone. With a working knowledge of commercial contracts in the telco or technology space, or a procurement or commercial legal background, you will own the interconnect costs and revenues, and take a lead role in the Procurement & Interop team on the company Business Improvement Program focusing on commercial cost out activity.   


What Will I be doing?


Accountable for interconnect & national roaming revenues 

Accountable for domestic and international interconnect, international bandwidth, & other costs 

Accountable for CX for interoperability services including for example having sufficient international bandwidth to avoid congestion, international call quality, protecting customers against scams

Lead Business Improvement Programme governance for Procurement & Interoperability team

Protect Vodafone’s reputation by ensuring we do more than the bare legal minimum, protecting community standards and avoiding negative media or regulatory attention

Act as subject matter expert, working with marketing and technology teams to understand, advise on and support new and changing requirements including capacity, functionality, capability, codes etc 

Own relationship with key domestic and international partners and lead account management discussions
