Responsible for designing and building logical/Physical data models of DWH schema either new models or modifications of current ones.


◾Responsible for gathering users requirements and translate business needs into Technical specs


◾Responsible for the design and build of the automated quality KPI’s.


◾Responsible for build DWH functional Architecture, inter-relations, and dependencies


Responsible for maintain Metadata base Analysis and housekeeping.

◾Responsible for developing and Launch Metadata application that enable tools for BI members to inquire DWH metadata elements, and simulate metadata change projection on DWH Models/ETLs/Reports.


◾Responsible for Setting Data Governance Automation checks of BI daily deliverables.


◾Responsible for Assuring Data quality across BI models Input and output streams


◾Responsible for the debug, monitor, and troubleshoot of BI solutions.


◾Responsible for manage the resolving of any quality issue raised by either BI team or Business users.


◾Responsible for developing and executing unit, system integration, and user acceptance test plans and plays an active role in project rollouts.


◾Responsible for create and maintain BI processes either internally or externally between BI team and Support team.


◾Ensuring customers receive only best quality products in accordance with the latest yet cost effective industry technologies


◾Ensure quality and frequent reporting to department  management


◾Set the roadmap for Modelling and Data Integrity systems


◾Set the team strategy and goals and ensure alignment with Vodafone Egypt & group strategy


◾Provide needed support & direction to direct reports to achieve Personal and team objectives


Recruit & coach world-class calibres that are able to deliver Vodafone strategy
◾Ensure Vodafone Way is understood & applied on the department


1.    Business Strategy
 
§  Definet he Modeling and Data Integrity department strategy in alignment with Vodafone Egypt and Vodafone Group strategy and review department strategy periodically

§  Ensure the compliance with new company Governance, Data Warehouse Standards, Data Standards and Data Warehouse Methods and Procedures in the delivery

·         Identifies and acts upon market changes when developing the customer strategy

·         Ensure having clear roadmap for all  BI Modeling and Quality solutions

§  Implement Automated Quality KPI’s to assure the BI deliverables.

§  Implement Metadata Application

§  Implement Business Glossary

§  Work with the direct reports to define clear objectives for each of the sub-departments

§  Ensure that department objectives are met on time
 

2.    Delivering Results
 
§  Create and maintains data governance and reporting strategies that reduce data redundancy wherever possible.

§  Perform periodical clean up procedures for cleansing the unused data models and revise the retention periods for data models to maintain performance and maximize ROI.

§  Make sure the team focus on delivering customer needs

§  Ensure that all commercial and  customer care projects related to the department are delivered as per the agreed timelines, quality, and costs

§  Implement BI cleaning procedures to remove the unused objects from DWH model.

§  Review and maintain BI processes either internally or externally between BI team and Support team.

§  Support marketing team to have the appropriate strategy to have a clear view of the current market status.

§  Target critical areas for improvement to deliver strategic change

§  Support Vodafone in being the first in the market in NPS

§  Give support and take needed decisions to improve time-to-market and product quality

§  Ensure system upgrades and capacity extensions are done as planned

§  Challenge decisions to make sure they are based on high quality information

·         Manage   Reporting (weekly,  monthly , achievement reports) Allocate resources according to the business needs

·         Actively supports of the technology account management in meeting the customer objectives

·         Works closely with customers to handle sensitive situations tactfully

§  Understand well group strategy for BI Product & Services

§  Ensure Vodafone Egypt BI Product & Services objectives are aligned with Vodafone group strategy

§  Make sure that local plans support group plans
 

6.    Reporting
 
§  Report to BI Senior Manager the progress in different strategic projects, issues, achievements & needed support
