As BI Manager you will be working as a manager within the VF UK Business Intelligence team, acting as BI's "front door" and business partner for all BI's services delivered to multiple business areas within Vodafone UK.
Understanding business priorities and matching to BI capabilities, you will be stimulating the best and most creative use of Vodafone’s available data and information across all BI estate to deliver against demand. Through close working with the business units and our Technology teams in particular, you will be ensuring that these teams can confidently exploit BI capabilities to manage and improve performance.
Prioritisation will be critical and you will pro-actively work with your Finance, BI and Technology peer group to drive cohesive solutions across all BI areas and to achieve effective use of BI resources managed through the BI Capability and Reporting Solutions teams. Through this role you will become the single point of contact from concept to performance, and will be responsible for delivering a high performance end to end service where pro-active stakeholder management and communication is critical.
Acting as the face of BI you are the business partner for all BI's services delivered to a business unit. Your primary objective is to ensure the business unit receives a great information service that is central to their commercial decision making and growing the reliability and creativity of BI’s solutions and services.
Customer relationship management of Business Intelligence customers across the specific business unit at all levels.

You should be:
• Experienced in BI tools, SQL and data warehousing such as MicroStrategy and Teradata.
• Experienced in the practical use of data analysis to support commercial decision making
• Educated to degree level or equivalent

People leadership experience & good people management skills with experience of creating and managing effective teams



Experienced in requirements analysis, specifically the challenge and validation of data capability and reporting requirements
