Our Team:

Our Transformation Team lead and deliver exciting programmes and projects that span the Vodafone Group business. We are now seeking a Business Design Specialist to lead and support the delivery of the highest profile business change programmes in Vodafone Group enabling and delivering our digital agenda in an Agile environment.


You will be someone with exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to bring stakeholder groups along with you on the journey, ensuring a collaborative and unified direction is maintained and achieved. You should also have a strong Architecture understanding, but crucially focusing on the Business requirements and relationships.

You will own: 
  • Interpretation of Programme Vision and Strategy into impacts and requirements (business change statements) on the Vodafone Operating Model, Business Capabilities and Customer Journey
  • Cooperating with and coordinating different departments of the company at central and local level, e.g Enterprise IT, Customer Operations, Legal & Regulatory to obtain necessary support for the definition of changes to Business Capabilities and the sizing of the resulting Business Impacts of change
  • Supporting Business Owners, Finance, Programme Management and Enterprise IT in designing Programme phasing in order to maximise business benefit realisation
  • Supporting Programme Management and Business Change in the ongoing estimation and planning of the Business Change activities and Business 
With us you will:
  • Assess Project / Program level capability, business design and manage dependencies
  • Manage and prioritise fixed and variable features and capabilities as part of the overall solution intent, supporting the Product Owner with feature and capability prioritisation
  • Own Enterprise Architecture model maintenance, governance and evangelization
  • Align closely with Business subject matter experts, Business owners, IT Solution Architects, and Delivery counterparts

Apply if you have: 
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills, having worked within multi-disciplinary virtual teams, providing systems integration/business transformation services
  • Ability to relate product technology, processes, IT and people/organisation to provide a coherent Programme design with a strong focus on the customer experience and operational benefits
  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture and Transformation within core operational capabilities
  • Proven experience in the preparation and review of business cases including people, processes and technology costs 
We’re happy if you: 
  • Have working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture models (eg. TOGAF)
  • Have a working knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies
  • Have Telecoms related experience
