Presales Service Architect

Location: UK Flexible
Hours: 37.5 Monday – Friday

What will you be doing?  
You will be responsible for designing service integration and management solutions which links customer requirements with services deliverable by stakeholders across Vodafone. This can include capturing requirements or obligations and defining service solutions against these requirements. The development of interim and future operating models, service performance (including SLA and SCR design and agreement), contract compliance, service transition planning, Statements Of Work, and third party vendor relationships.


Your primary role will be to assist Sales teams in creating and realising pipeline opportunities across our customer base. This is a client-facing role that supports the sales activities (RFx, bid responses etc.) of the Vodafone UK Business sales channels covering both the public and private sectors. Supporting the entire Vodafone product portfolio, from connectivity to contact centres as well as hosting and cloud services. You will typically support the largest, most-complex opportunities with total contract values normally between £10M and £100M.


You will have a good understanding of the products and services within the Vodafone Service Catalogue, a good knowledge of the customers that comprise the sales channel and considerable insight into the business and service-related issues facing large enterprises. An in-depth level of understanding of the government agenda and the way they procure services is essential. You will provide a key contact for Customer’s CIOs, Chief Architects, IT Strategists and Enterprise Architects and will be expected to work with these peers to develop technology strategy and to champion the Vodafone relationship.

Who are we looking for?   


  • An individual with client engagement experience at multiple levels with strong communications and negotiation skills
  • Experience of Service Design 
  • ITIL V3 minimum 
  • Telecoms experience is essential
  • Eligible for SC clearance
