Role purpose: 
 
We are looking for a Domain Manager to support the Vodafone Business 2025 vision & strategy for Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) by driving the Go-to-Market (MEC) strategies of MEC across our local Vodafone OpCo markets  (initially DE, UK, ES, IT, other OpCos to follow).

 

You will be a local MEC expert for a large variety of customer MEC projects with local Vodafone customer segments in VGE, OpCo, etc. You will work across lifecycle phases, local market, verticals, brands with domain-specific responsibility for MEC in all customer engagements. 

 

You will lead the awareness of Vodafone MEC strategy in the local market through sharing of best practices and lessons learned. This includes internal and external activities such as inviting MEC customers to present at Vodafone events; sharing of case studies; sales briefings; Q&A sessions, and sales clinics. You will ensure a strong understanding of local market developments and specific vertical needs, customer requirements and the competition.

 

You will supports local market growth and achievement of the local VB 2025 revenue targets for MEC. To do this, you will be accountable for measuring progress towards local market success and program metrics, eg. quarter/annual bookings, etc., setting a baseline, and linking these metrics to business benefits and other relevant metrics/KPIs as defined. You will translate outcomes of PoCs, tests and demos into clear and concise messaging for our customers to maximize MEC awareness.

 

You will drive the growth of our local Vodafone market share by collaborating with our customers to expand into new use cases. You will collaborate closely with a vast array of stakeholders, including: 

  • Vodafone lines of business (eg. IoT/MPN), fixed, VGE and OpCos, Portfolio/Product, Customer Service, Go-to-Market, Group and local Marketing, Commercial and Pricing.

With us you will:

  •  Supports the delivery of revenue and TVC targets.
  •  Drives our MEC performance through the generation of new logos.
  •  Owning the execution of the agreed strategy, creating the execution plan, to identifying, aligning and delivering quarterly GTM strategic targets Identify and create commercially viable customer propositions and roll these out / multiply to wider OPCO and Vertical teams

  •  Deliver strategic and concise GTM proposition messaging.
  •  Leverage outcomes and findings into a coherent story that can, where possible, be applied to multiple customers and markets.  
  •  Be the voice of the customer – ensure that Vodafone delivers strategic goals based on customer centric solutions across the full portfolio in the short, medium and long term.

 

Apply if you have: 

  •  Entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach to deliver revenue and TCV targets
  •  Strong business acumen with an ability to quickly understand corporate strategies, portfolios and relationships 
  •  Ability to engage, nurture and influence stakeholders of all levels within Vodafone as well as external partners.
  •  Experience in strategic and financial planning, business intelligence, commercial calculations, market planning, development and deployment of GTM metrics
  •  Be a successful change agent, driving continuous adaptation and improvement of solutions to meet business objectives
  •  Degree / 10+ years’ experience in the technology industry
  •  Dedicated experience in GTM roles
  •  Financial and commercial acumen   
  •  Experience with Cloud, 5G and related network services highly desirable
