Robotics Integration Manager 

 

Role purpose:
Your role is to drive the GDC activities in the field of Automation & Robotics. This implies tasks like: vendor and solution evaluation, Design, deployment and Development of Software Bots, Automations and Integration into GDC Robotics & Automation framework. As well as Project management of all implementation activities, contracting support and service. To define a Global Target Architecture / framework and Strategy, Architectural Standards, Solutions and Roadmaps through the evaluation, recommendation and selection of key vendors that will supply Automation & Robotics products and solution in a cost effective, supportable, operable and expandable manner.

Architecting the GDC Robotics framework:

  • Setting up the GDC Robotics & Automation framework & Roadmap
  • Demand & Requirement Management for the solutions in scope
  • Design, development & implementation of Software Bots, Automation standards, Interfaces needed, templates, workflows and other application specific topics
  • Providing Robotics & Automation solutions & Integrations for GDC relevant Automations topics
  • Responsible for leading the analysis, design, and implementation of the solution framework and ensuring that the solution fulfils the requirements
  • Constant review of Architecture, standards an d solution in scope 

 

Solution responsible for all Robotics & Automation solutions in scope: 

  • Solution ownership for dedicated GDC Robotics & Automation solutions including customer and supplier management for the solutions in scope. 
  • Solution & product responsible for solutions in Scope 
  • Assure the fast adoption and support of new technologies coming into the Data Centre 
  • Consult all GDC Stakeholder regarding Robotics & Automation to find solutions required to meet customer requirements 

 

Selection of Tools and Vendors 

  • Setting up request for quotation 
  • Selecting- in line with SCM – the vendors to be involved 
  • Leading the evaluation process for tool & vendor selection 
  • Responsible for merging technology, operational and commercial requirements to establish the best (fit for purpose) Vodafone solution


Leadership and teamwork Leading and managing implementation projects for Robotics & Automation solutions 

  • Set up project plans to implement tools and software in scope
  • Lead the involved parties as external integrators or internal staff assigned to these projects 
  • Manage and assure the different goals of each project with regards to timelines, quality issues and cost targets 
  • Assure Proper Stakeholder Management

Apply if you have:

  • Deep knowledge of data centre operations, operational procedures, IT technologies and process standards (e.g. ITIL) 
  • Well-developed knowledge of IT- Robotics and DC Automation technologies 
  • Experience in managing complex technology and detailed technical architecture in the relevant areas. 
  • Strong communication and team-player skills 
  • Experience and ability to work within an international team 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong ongoing business relationships at a strategic level with internal and external customers.
  • High flexibility and solution oriented attitude 
  • Fluent English


Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • Strong IT / Applications Operations background and experience in managing complex technology, with university degree in Information technology or similar 
  • > 4 years of experience in IT service provisioning (preference in the telecommunication industry) 
  • 4-8 years within a technical environment performing technical design roles across technical domains. 
  • 2-4 years as an Architect/Technical Consultant. 
  • Deep knowledge of data centre operations, operational procedures and process standards (e.g. ITIL) 
  • Well-developed knowledge of IT- and telecommunications Roboitcs & DC Automation technologies 
  • 2-4 years’ experience of technical Project Management. 
  • Detailed technical architecture experience in the relevant areas. 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong ongoing business relationships at a strategic level with internal and external customers.
