Locatin: Ratingen or Düsseldorf, Germany

Provides leadership and direction through large diverse teams of Senior Managers, Managers and senior professionals to ensure flawless availability of all Cable Stack services provided to end customer 24x7 for VF Germany.
 E2E responsibility to design, deliver and run infrastructure fixed line services closely working with local VF-DE teams. Drives the integration of technology, business process aspects (consolidation, standardisation, streamlining) of cable stack teams from different acquisitions to achieve efficiency and outstanding customer experience by supporting Vodafone business at the lowest cost possible. Adapts and executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of further integration strategies for fixed line business.

• Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems
• Develops plans and delivers results in fast changing businesses and regulatory environments
• Provides input to functional or departmental strategy
• To plan and drive budget and performance requirements, including recruitment and release of employees, achieving cost efficient E2E support in line with agreed SLAs, Incident and MTTR targets
• Define and drive agile procedures and processes to reduce workload, increase speed and customer satisfaction
• Steer team towards technical innovations and service excellence in order to drive simplification and reduce costs
• Motivate and coach the team and establish a learning culture to constantly enhance the technical and management skills


Apply if you have:
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
• German & English language proficiency
• Notable management experience
• Understanding of SOX, ISO 9001, PCI-DSS, ITIL and agile methodologies
• Strong technical background in a variety of IT disciplines
• Ability & mindset to coordinate major incidents, even outside of working 9am to 5pm working hours
Nice-to-have:
• Experience of working through high-stress-level situations
• IT background in the field of DC operations, solution design and project delivery
•  > 10 years of experience in enterprise IT
• Proven track record of successfully managing mangers and teams
• At least 3 years of experience in running large IT support functions
• Ability to build high performing teams
• Experience working with German work council
