Description

The Data Engineer is a software engineer specialised in data solutions, including technologies to use and scalability of different solutions. Typically reports to the Chapter Lead.

Job Responsibility

Job Description:

8-12 years of Experience 

Primary Skills:

- Designing, building and managing AWS Data Pipeline for batch and streaming applications.

- Working knowledge using Nifi, Yarn, Hive, Airflow and Spark

Secondary Skills:

- Real-time data processing using Kafka, Confluent Kafka, AWS Kinesis, GCP pub/sub or similar

- Working experience with other distributed technologies such as CassandraDB, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Elastic Search and Flink would be desirable

- Java and Python programming ability
