AWS and Devops Support Analyst

Primary Skills : AWS , Azure Devops

Secondary Skills (if applicable) :  Solr, Coherence, Spring boot Java, TIBCO APIX,  System Admin, Oracle DBA, AppDynamics, Splunk, Soasta, Adobe Analytics, Ansible, WCP, WCS, Apache-Webserver, Oracle 12C , Unix/Linux, UCM

Expert in below technologies:
1) continuous integrations of multi-technology, large scale web and mobile applications in a fast-paced organization. 
2) Experience of modern enterprise web technologies, including WCS, Node, React, Angular, etc. 
3) CI/CD technologies & tools, including Chef, Docker, EC2, Jenkins, Puppet, etc. 
4) cloud-based platforms & tools: Azure, AWS, Github, VSTS, JIRA, etc. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

•    Experience in implementing API gateway.
•    Good understanding of Microservices architecture. Knowing how to monitor and run microservice.
•    Knowledge of Python Java or both .
•    Spring boot
•    Good to knowledge in multiple RDBMS/NoSQL/Cloud Based DB’s.
•    Cloud platform knowledge (Azure/AWS)
•      Accountable for meeting & improving SLA & KPIs for the applications
•    Should be flexible to work in shifts, weekends, Public Holidays on rotational basis
•    Provide on-call support as and when required.
•    Suggest improvements
•    Responsible for all operational management aspects of incidents
•    End-to-end ownership of the incidents , communication between business and support teams; issue resolution
•    Securing incidents are resolved within SLA
•    Participate in Change, Release and Deployment activities and Transformation plans
•    Co-ordination with all support groups
•    Continuous engagement with operations and support teams to understand the ongoing risks within the business and address it in timely manner
•    Ability to drive process improvement to continually improve service and reduce costs
•    Constantly challenge to review methodology to enhance delivery 
•    Develop and manage resource utilization, Billing, and Optimisation process
•    Analyze performance bottleneck based on monitoring data
•    Configure and tune caching 
•     Locate and interpret log file messages 
•    Identify and perform day-to-day administrative tasks

Description

The IT Operations Specialist focuses upon activities that help to identify and manage the changing customer / business / user needs (regarding IT requirements) and ensure customer satisfaction with Vodafones IT products and services in line with the Customer Service Management strategy. Providing technical advice and administration across the IT lifecycle for all end-users. The IT Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in IT operations including administration and maintenance of assigned applications, services, systems and solutions, incident management, problem management, change and release management and vendor management, to drive improvements through innovation, best practice techniques, and collaboration. Job Responsibility

* Advises on and executes administrative activities against the operations plans, to enable the achievement of the Technology strategy;

* Supports the team to deliver appropriate actions to keep the system/service in good working order, preventing incidents from arising and restoring system/service to normal operation in line with objectives and KPIs;

* Effectively coordinates with colleagues to deliver required applications, systems and solutions for all end-users, related to incident management, problem management, change and release management and vendor management;

* Understands market trends and contributes to suggested improvements for processes, procedures and business interfaces related to IT Operations and maintenance activities, ensuring operating efficiency for all applications and support;

* Executes the tasks and activities in line with the plan to ensure the effectiveness of the area;

* Supports the end-to-end projects that improve customer and employee satisfaction;

* Supports the team in automation and digitisation, capacity planning, analysing, reporting and investigating service performance metrics;

* Maintains relations with internal and external partners;

* Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way to support the team priorities, resolve incidents and interface with 1st line teams and with suppliers on incident resolution;

* Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
