The Network Operations Specialist focuses upon the provision of network operations advice and administration and provides monitoring, operation and management of efficient and effective networks services fulfilling the Vodafone Strategy. The Network Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in monitoring network nodes, executing event/incident management, configuration, escalation, release and deployment and 3rd party management activities, ensuring a high quality, reliable network service is available to our customers. Typically reports to the Network Operations Manager. #_VOIS

Job Responsibility

Summary of key responsibilities:

  • Perform Incident, Problem, Service and Change Management for the services, tracking the activities in oneITSM/Remedy ticketing system
  • Integrate new services into team’s portfolio
  • Impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure.
  • You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned and preventive actions to provide high standard deliverables that meet SLA (Service Level Adherence) and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provides on call/stand-by 24/7 technical support to 1st line monitoring teams and to customers, gathering all the required information to solve all the end to end service incidents
  • Contribute in year-on-year Major Incident’s reduction in Network, according to annual goals targets
