The next challenge for you:
The role of Machine Learning Engineer will be a key position within the Big Data & AI team. The way we can use data is a way not just to understand customers and products better, but also be organised in a way that makes decision-making faster and boosts innovation across Vodafone. 
As a Machine Learning Engineer you will: 
•Work closely with data scientists and data engineers to create and deploy new product features, data pipelines and model pipelines
•Implement end-to-end solutions for batch and real-time algorithms along with requisite tooling around monitoring, logging and analysing. 
•Establish and manage scalable, efficient, automated processes for data analyses, model development, validation, implementation, and production.
•Research and implement best practices to improve the existing machine learning technology stack and infrastructure adopted by the organisation.
•Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks used by the team to deliver ML solutions
•Mentor and educate team members to adopt best practices in writing and maintaining production machine learning code.
•Build algorithms based on statistical modelling procedures and build and maintain scalable machine learning solutions in production
•Analyse large, complex datasets to extract insights and decide on the appropriate techniques
•Provide support to data engineers and product managers in implementing machine learning in the products for different business units.
•Communicate clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences equally well.

What you need:
•Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think out of the box, a strong business acumen, ruthless business-focus and results-oriented mind-set, a strong sense of ownership, a growth mind-set, a positive attitude, the ability to work independently and in a team setting, and willingness to share and receive feedback and take directions.
•University or advanced degree in software engineering or computer science. 
•Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, computability and complexity, distributed systems, and computer architecture.
•Strong experience with object-oriented design and experience with development in some of the following languages. Java, Python, Scala and Javascript.
•Understating of machine learning algorithms including but not limited to regression, logistic regression, tree-based models, clustering, and deep learning.  
•Proven industry experience, of which 4+ years should be focused on developing and deploying large scale machine learning systems into production.
•Strong experience working with a variety of relational SQL and NoSQL databases. Advanced working knowledge of SQL is mandatory. 
•Strong experience working with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, etc.
•Experience with at least one cloud provider solution (AWS, GCP, Azure).
•Experience working with distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, micro services, and designing APIs. Ability to work in a Linux environment.
•Industry experience building and productionising innovative end-to-end Machine Learning systems.
•Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art machine learning libraries like h2o, scikit-learn, MLlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and R.
•Ability to quickly prototype ideas and solve complex problems by adapting creative approaches.
•Strong knowledge of data and machine learning pipeline and workflow management tools.
•Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm is desirable.
•Exposure to model training and development, model validation, model serving, model monitoring, and model retraining #_VOIS
