Role purpose:
This position is related to the world of sales within corporate segment in Italy North East Territory.
As a presale specialist, the candidate will manage the end-to-end solution design phase ensuring high quality technical solutions in complex deals and tender responses (including cost estimation).
Working closely with customers as trusted partner and consultant, the candidate must be able to identify customers' needs and customize the technical solution.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • High level design (including cost evaluation) for complex integrated solutions;
  • Plan and co-ordinate the activities of the design phase, managing priorities and time schedule;
  • Coordinate other vodafone units and vendors to design the solutions in line with the customer expectation;
  • Lead ICT Consulting companies/System Integrators/SW vendors/TLC Networking Vendors in the design phase implementing the most effective and efficient customer solutions;                              
  • Ensure that the solution designed adhere to the customer requirements and provide input to Profit and Loss, negotiating cost and the activity planning with the third parties.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Good communication and relationship skills;
  • Good understanding of corporate governance in complex organisations;
  • Good Knowledge of TLC/ICT market and solutions for Corporate market (both PMI and Large Enterprises) and Public Administration customers;
  • Good knowledge of tender management and responses.


Must have technical/professional qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical experience in international and highly complex organized structures;
  • Deep knowledge of TLC services;
  • Relevant higher education in ICT  field;
  • Commercial Awareness;
  • Strong attitude to problem solving;
  • Project management skills;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Financial skill.


Key performance indicators:

  •  Technical solution and cost evaluation delivered in timeframes agreed with account team.
