Role Purpose

Support the Senior Customer Engagement Manager to be the champion of the overall Group Business marketing plan into sales regions. This role will drive plans to reach buyers and create demand, accelerate pipeline and drive consideration for our solutions for VGE and our lines of business.
 

Role Description

  • Utilise insights and analysis across marketing to develop a holistic regional marketing plan aligned with our sales strategy and activating via digital, virtual and physical events and other marketing tactics. 

  • Utlise account-based marketing strategies to build and execute Customer Engagement and ABM campaigns. 

  • Partner with sales leadership as well as account managers and prove value through the campaigns.

  • Partner with OpCo Marketing to understand regional priorities and identify opportunities to create greater impact.

  • Be responsible for developing local technology and business partner marketing relationships to maximise investment and reputation.

  • Utilise KPIs, working in a collaborative fashion across a highly-matrixed organisation that includes Vodafone Business, Vodafone Group, and our Operating Companies.

  • Use the Marketing Demand Centre and Sales CRM tools to regularly launch campaigns and track and trace results, which you will be responsible for sharing with key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the Portfolio, Propositions, Analyst Relations and Strategy functional areas within MNC Marketing to execute end-to-end global and regional campaigns; own the customer activation plan.

  • Be the go-to source for deep customer insights on buying behaviours, which you will collect from our market analytics tools and apply in your campaigns. Act on customer intent and champion the voice of the customer within Vodafone Business Marketing.

  • Expertly tell the Vodafone story and leverage our brand, sponsorships and Vodafone Business Ventures proof points in the experiences you create.

  • Supplement your campaigns with physical and virtual demonstrations at tradeshows, roundtables, industry association events, and through our physical and virtual Customer Experience Centre tours.

  • Motivated by data and insights, and know where to go to get the answers to your market sizing, white-space and competitive questions.

  • Passionate about technology and how digital transformations are reinventing the traditional Enterprise business.

  • A strong B2B Marketer with a clear understanding of regional and cultural nuances.

  • Understand the differences between the MNC, SME and SoHo segments; know your SDN from your SN-WAN, your MEC from your MPN, and why a cloud migration strategy has nothing to do with BREXIT. 

  • Proven responsibility for the creation and execution of marketing strategies and localised campaign activities across multiple countries, industry verticals and languages.

  • Able to engage and influence across multiple levels of an organisation and the ability to understand and balance Global, Regional and Local perspectives.

  • Experienced at maximizing local marketing investment and securing additional sources of funding e.g. partner marketing fund.

Key Qualifications

  • Degree or higher in business studies, marketing or a numerate discipline.

  • Strong computing skills essential; especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, HTML a plus.
