Enabling Functions

In joining the Enabling Functions team here at Vodafone Group Business you will support our people in strengthening our position as an admired company in the eyes of our customers, shareholders and employees. Role purpose: Providing legal advice and support to specialist projects initiated by the IoT Line of Business (specifically the End 2 End Solutions Project).  This includes providing and collating specialist legal advice in relation to the E2E solutions project and roll-out of the cell site monitoring project for Vf Business IoT, including drafting contract templates. Liaising with other specialists around the VF Business legal team and helping to advise the IoT team on compliance and other aspects of the business project. The role will include, where appropriate, scoping out and managing external advisors for specific support.

With us you will:

  • Provide legal advice to the E2E project including IT issues and developments.
  • Develop an understanding and knowledge of the enterprise software space.
  • Lead the legal support for product development aspects of the E2E project and working with the wider VBL team to ensure clear regulatory and compliance support is provided to the E2E solutions project.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of contract templates for E2E solutions including partner model for cell-site monitoring.
  • Provide legal (and compliance) input to E2E solutions team on end to end process model for solution development

  • Experience in drafting and negotiating software and technology contracts;
  • Have an understanding of current IT issues and developments;
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of contract law as it applies to software-as-a-service agreements worldwide, including intellectual property licensing, data protection throughout the EU, and other developing areas of IT law.
  • Minimum 4 years PQE experience
  • Senior level credibility
  • Strong commercial understanding and proven track record of delivery.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to persuade and influence
  • Strong knowledge of relevant law and awareness of legal developments that may affect the Vodafone business.
  • Experience in IoT business area preferred.
