User Experience Designer

Location: Newbury (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)

What will you be doing?  

 

The UX/UI Designer will join Vodafone’s growing Digital Experience team and be aligned to the Sales Engineering team. You’ll be working across a variety of platforms and products, designing ways our sales teams, partners and customers can interact with us using the latest technologies.

The UX/UI Designer will act as the design leader, working with the sales process owners to lead and drive continuous improvements across sales processes, user journeys and tools to deliver sales productivity gains.

 

The core accountabilities of this role includes: 

 

Sales Process - Accountable for defining the sales user experience including tools and systems journeys. Analysing the current UX with stakeholders across the business, technology and process owners to help define journey and process improvement that materially benefits the UK business.

 

Leadership - To lead analysis or analysts to identify UX improvement opportunities. Owning and driving the direction of the sales user experience, showing strong collaboration and able to represent and influence at leadership levels.
 

Sales Experience /Application Operation - Accountable for defining a roadmap of change and to deliver initiatives to simplify the commercial experience, optimise ways of working to deliver the most efficient sales teams and drive commercial performance

 

Who we are looking for?


The successful candidate must have: 

  • Deep UX/UI knowledge, credibility and a strong design-driven mind-set.
  • Excellent knowledge of user centred design methodologies (IA, wire framing, prototyping, user testing) Expert creating prototypes, wireframes, storyboards etc.
  • A user-centric approach to design, incorporating insights from research and product analytics into the design.
  • Experience with conducting user testing & user journey mappingQualification or equivalent experience in design, digital media, graphic design, product design or similar 
  • Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Principle, Marvel, Axure etc.
  • In depth user experience and user interface knowledge.
