Strategic Sales Compensation Manager

Location:    Newbury  (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)

What will you be doing?

This role will be responsible for maximising our sales and commercial performance through the design, implementation and governance of world-class sales compensation plans.

  • Leading a team of analysts and taking responsibility for the strategic evolution and design of our compensation plans in line with our Business strategy.
  • Being responsible for designing, implementing and managing of the robust governance process, and chairing the monthly governance board.
  • Ownership of the relationships with Segment Sales Leadership to align on principles, design, implementation and performance of the plans.
  • Ownership of the relationships with Finance Operations, who have responsibility for running the monthly commission validation, calculation and payment processes.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing world-class commission/compensation plans in a large corporate.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications and ICT environment, ideally mobile, fixed and IT solutions experience.
  • Knowledge of license and SaaS based sales portfolios.
  • Credible leader with excellent coaching and mentoring skills, promoting a team culture of trust, empowerment and development.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to convey understanding and earn respect across key stakeholders in Enterprise, especially at senior management and SLT.
  • Deep transformational and change management ability.
  • Strong decision making skills – able to identify key business issues and balance conflicting interests.
