Internal Audit Manager

Location: Newbury (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)

What will you be doing? 

 

You'll be an integral member of the Internal Audit team to support Vodafone Internal Audit in providing risk-based independent assurance of the effectiveness of the Group’s internal controls to senior management and the main board Audit and Risk Committee within Vodafone UK.

 

Key accountabilities include:

 

  • Lead specific audits to identify and mitigate risks in the company’s processes following the Internal Audit standards and in line with the Internal Audit methodology.
  • Undertake activities to ensure that high risk areas are subject to greater focus than low risk areas.
  • Contribute and deliver to the Internal Audit strategy and drive to further utilise technology, analytics and increase the relevance of our insights.
  • Build positive relationships with leaders across the organisation to understand issues and identify areas in the control environment for improvement in the organisation as a whole.
  • Support UK Head of audit and teams of peers in delivery of audit plans by providing knowledge and expertise.

 

Who are we looking for?  

 

  • Experience in audit (internal or external) and a profressional auditing qualification (CIA, ACA).
  • Audit experience with FCA regulated entities essential.
  • Passion and interest in technology and telecoms.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, ability to interact with senior management.
  • Analytical skills, and data analytics capability desirable.
  • Able to prioritise, multi-task and be comfortable with a changing envirionment.
