DevOps & Test Environments Specialist

Location: Newbury   (Blended - home & office)
Salary:  Competitive
Hours:   37.5 hours

What will you be doing?

 

• Ensure environments stability and availability for all testing phases, functional and non-functional. Planned env availability to be above 90% to be reviewed as service progresses.
• Work together with our partner/suppliers that support our Environment service with focus on being cost effective, and efficient in delivering as per KPIs using the right technical skills and innovation.
• Support delivery of the environment’s improvements roadmap, using Automation, implementing efficient processes, adopting new technologies and ways of working focusing on continuous integration and continuous deployment DevOps principles.

 


Who are we looking for? 


Experience of
• IT Test Environment management on large systems stacks.
• planning test environments utilisation across projects and releases - for a variety of test phases
• working with 3rd Party, vendors both onshore and offshore.
• driving automation, innovation in cloud and non-cloud (On-Premise) environments and implementation of automation solutions to reduce any manual intervention
• Hands on DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Nexus, Azure DevOps
• Automation mindset and focus on transformation/change through DevOps tooling/processes
