Compliance Monitoring Manager

Job Title: Compliance Monitoring Manager
Location: (Full-time remote working during COVID-19) - Newbury

What will you be doing?
 

Working across the business, our Compliance Monitoring Managers play a key role in assessing and strengthening internal processes and controls to ensure Vodafone is meeting its obligations. 
 
As part of the Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Team, you will assess the UK business against a diverse range of regulatory requirements, contractual commitments and internal policies. Primarily focusing on GDPR compliance, you will drive delivery of a robust compliance monitoring framework across technology and business processes, while championing our compliance culture. This involves evaluating areas of the UK business for compliance, writing reports, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
 
You will also have opportunities to enhance your knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority and Critical National Infrastructure compliance through working with the rest of the team.


 
Key responsibilities of this role are:

 

•        Manage and deliver the GDPR assurance plan.
•        Provide senior management with independent assessments of regulatory compliance and control effectiveness.
•        Identify compliance gaps and control weaknesses, agree corrective actions, and hold senior management to account for delivery.
•        Highlight opportunities for process improvement and simplification.
•        Support ad hoc projects as and when required.
 
 

Who are we looking for?


•        Solid understanding of GDPR principles and risk management.
•        Experience operating a compliance / assurance / audit framework.
•        Strong analytical, written and communication skills.
