The Commercial Manager, Performance will have overall ownership for the Vodafone Small Business Detailed Budget, bringing together the four businesses we drive; Fixed and Mobile across SoHo and Digital Desk. The post holder is responsible for the end to end management of the P&L across all three segments and incorporating both our Fixed and Mobile business. It is a role that requires breadth over depth having an awareness of all the moving parts that drive Vodafone Small Business, but relying on others to provide the commercial management.  This role has the accountability for understanding, monitoring and reporting our overall financial performance; tracking movements, understanding variances and presenting a holistic view of both Risks & Opportunities. Due to the nature of the role, it works closely with Finance to ensure commercial actions translate into P&L performance, highlighting and rectifying where they don’t. 
 
 
What will you be doing? 

 

  • Own, develop and lead the overall Small Business budgeting process for 9+15 and other interim budgets as appropriate
  • Ensure Small Business is adequately represented in Capex allocation requests, supported by robust rationale and commercial reasoning
  • Identify and lead on development of overarching Risks and Opportunities to ensure monitoring is understood, articulated and headwinds offset
  • Cover all aspects of Fixed, Mobile, Business Add-Ons & Apps and Complimentary Services to ensure a rounded approach to the management of the Small Business P&L
  • Drive business case development for core strategic transformational programmes ensuring overlays are clearly integrated into R&O/9+15 budgeting
  • Support a step change in Commercial performance management; proactively identifying new approaches, insight presentation and drive core commercial enhancement
