Business Analyst

Location: Newbury
Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday 
 
Be part of the Business Technology Solutions for Vodafone UK, the team that design and develop our converged communications solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, whilst implement the solutions directly with our customers. We help thousands of businesses across the country with our connectivity solutions. 
 
 
What will you be doing?  

 

As a Business Analyst you will work within the Vodafone Business Technology Solutions Wholesale Operations Team.

 

You will be focused on enhancing and developing the end-to-end provisioning processes and the implementation. Liaise with IT, Operations, Product Managers, Suppliers and Customers to capture requirements, as and where appropriate. Liaise with IT, Product Management, Suppliers, Billing and other Business areas to fix recurring problems, and drive better performance.

 

You will be required to work at speed and have a very good understanding of requirements gathering, documentation, BPR and Gap Analysis.

 


Typical Activities will include:

 

  • Undertake quality control and maintenance of process maps
  • Respond in a timely manner to any queries from external or internal customers
  • Collect information for new process maps
  • Make alterations and publish process maps as required
  • Assist in reviewing process mapping strategy
  • To maintain the integrity of the documentation and databases used to support the services provided
  • To cross train and provide back up to all provisioning variations as required
  • Ensure all tasks performed comply with processes so no incidents of non-compliance are reported; all processes are auditable and reflect the Quality System. Pro-actively report and act upon discrepancies found.
  • Ensure suggestions are made, where applicable, to improve service and gain efficiencies

 

 

Who are we looking for?   

 

  • The flexibility to tackle problems with enthusiasm and tenacity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Key skills in data analysis, using appropriate tools
  • Experience of applied BA practices and a proven BA Qualification would be an advantage
