Role title: Agile Tooling Specialist 
Location: Global: UK, Italy, Spain, Germany or Turkey

Digital & IT is a newly emerging function within Technology that will be critical to this transformation on a global level. Within this newly created function, a new domain called Lean Portfolio Management & Transformation (LPM&T) has been established with the following mission:
•    We are the trusted Enablers of the Business, ensuring that the delivery roadmap of demand will be aligned with the Tech 2025 Strategy and our new Product Operating Model via managing demand, capacity and performance.
•    We are the drivers for increasing our delivery efficiency by providing data-based business insights and focusing on the re-usability and standardisation across all markets, also by involving our IT partners. 
•    We are role modelling the agile ways of working and implementing the SAFe methodology within Digital & IT by setting up an overarching LACE Structure.

Job Responsibility

Role purpose
The Agile Tooling Specialist is the technical product owner for the agile portfolio management tool and adjacent tools like analytic tools and others. You will be responsible for defining the requirements how to use/configure the tool and will provide the training and guidelines to users to ensure optimum and consistent use across Digital & IT. In this role, you will support Product Owners and Scrum masters to ensure the tooling serves their needs, that it has the required functionality and that the appropriate support is provided to ensure a high level of usability and usage. You will implement and deliver plans to support users with functionality and training and manage requirements on the tooling landscape in the LPM&T domain via a community of interest. 


Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
•    Experience as Agile Tooling Specialist within large delivery organisations, with demonstrable experience leading teams on agile methodologies / tools
•    Strong stakeholder engagement & communication skills 
•    Experience of Agile frameworks
•    Background in software development, product delivery and/or programme/project management
•    Highly organised 
•    Ability to understand, support and articulate complex Business change processes, data-sets and governance 


Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    Commercial degree or equivalent
•    Knowledge and experience of working in agile frameworks, e.g. SAFe Agilist/SPC, Scrum, Kanban, Agile PM 
•    SAFe, PMP, MSP or Prince2
•    Experience of agile tools in the Strategy to Plan domain (e.g. Jira, MS Azure, Confluence)
•    Knowledge and experience working in a LACE structure
•    Experience in complex organizations with distributed responsibilities or with an international environment 

* Builds solid relations and works closely with internal stakeholders (including Business Managers) to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, providing insight, recommendations and closed loop feedback reporting;

* Uses best practice knowledge to support promoting culture change and influence internal partners by training, coaching and sharing best practices in structured problem solving,�process improvement, process management and operational routines;

* Advocates the Business/Process Improvement model, acting as the gatekeeper for processes, communications, enablers and methodologies, which interact across functions ensuring any changes are subject to impact assessments and approvals;

* May coach more junior members of the team.
