Role Purpose

We are looking for a UX Designer to join the Vodafone Design Studio, a team of talented experience designers and researchers in charge of UX Research, Service & Product Design and UX & UI Design across all the Vodafone Italy touchpoints.
 
By joining our team you will be responsible to manage the experience of our products and services. You will design the direction of our customer’s journey, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and other designers as well as colleagues from data, insights and marketing departments. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high scale product and seeing real time impact of your work on millions of customers.

What you’ll do

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the business goals and user needs, identifying and articulating high-impact opportunities, while continuing to drive strategic design decisions;
  • Synthesize user research and business data to help shape the product and service roadmap;
  • Review user stories within a given design sprint to ensure objectives, goals, and requirements are clear;
  • Evaluate and measure the outcome for each design sprint to provide recommendations on how best to improve the overall product design and collaboration between cross-functional team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years professional experience in related field;
  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Interaction design (HCI) or Master in UX Design;
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), service design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns;
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently;
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and customers;
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables;
  • Familiar with Adobe Analytics or digital analytics;
  • The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and with multiple tasks in an agile environment;
  • Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design;
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism;
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologie
